General Information
Location: Bowling Green, KY
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: 36
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 with cath recovery, max 6:1, may stretch to 7:1
- Unit Staffing: PCTS on day and night shift; Unit Clerks on day shift
- Type of Equipment: Remote Telemetry monitors, Alaris pumps
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend required
- Floating Policy: Agency floats first, may float to Ortho/Med-Surg
- Patient Experience Goals: Strive for a 75% patient satisfaction rate
Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
Requested Skill Set
- Must Have: Telemetry experience
- Advanced Skills: Knowledge of chest tubes, Dysthymia training
Procedures Performed
- Chest tube insertions
- Bedside Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
Dress Code
Any scrubs are acceptable except camo.
