Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Labor and Postpartum care. This position requires working night shifts over a 12-hour schedule, totaling 36 or 48 hours per week. The shifts will commence at 6:15 PM and conclude at 5:45 AM. Applicants must be skilled in handling labor responsibilities with a preference for those also experienced in Postpartum care and Level 2 nursery services.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and postpartum stages.
- Oversee and support care in the Level 2 nursery.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and protocols, including NRP and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer emergency care as needed, following ACLS and BLS standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor is necessary.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is mandatory.

Scrubs in eggplant color will be provided if needed. This role is essential for delivering high-quality care in a challenging and rewarding environment. Candidates with NICU experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
