Privacy Policy
Last updated August 18, 2026
This is a short policy because the site collects very little. There are no user accounts, no advertising trackers, and no cookies set by us.
What we collect when you browse
Nothing that identifies you. Browsing pages does not create a record tied to you. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs of requests, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
What we collect when you click Apply
Clicking Apply records one row so we can tell employers how many applications we sent and spot click fraud. That row contains:
- which job was clicked, and the time
- which page on this site you clicked from
- the referring URL, if your browser sent one
- whether the device looked like a phone or a desktop
- a one-way hash (SHA-256) of your IP address — we store the hash, not the address itself
We do not record your name, email, resume, or anything you type into the employer's application. That happens on their site, under their privacy policy.
“Use my location”
If you tap Use my location, your browser asks your permission and then hands us approximate coordinates. We round them (to roughly a kilometer), put them in the search URL, and use them only to sort jobs by distance for that search. We do not store them in our database. Because they sit in the URL, they will appear in our host's server logs like any other web address.
Who we share with
We do not sell personal information. Aggregate counts of applications are reported to the employers and job networks whose listings you applied to, as part of how the site is paid.
Questions or requests
Email contact@rnjobsnearme.com and we will respond. If you want the click records associated with your IP hash deleted, tell us roughly when you visited and we will remove them.
