Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The selected candidate will work on a temporary basis for 13 weeks, with varying schedules based on the needs of the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring.
- Float between Med Surg and Tele departments as required.
- Maintain and document patient records using Cerner charting.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during care delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Schedule
The schedule will consist of day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, including every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Flexibility in schedule is necessary to accommodate unit demands.
Qualifications
- Recent experience in an acute care setting is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Recent experience with Cerner charting is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a nursing role.
- At least 2 completed travel assignments are required.
