Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for night shifts. The position requires a strong background in labor and delivery, with a preference for postpartum experience and the ability to work in a Level 2 nursery.
Shift Details
- 12-hour night shifts
- Shifts start at 6:15 PM and end at 5:45 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing top-quality patient care in a challenging and rewarding environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in labor and delivery processes
- Providing care for postpartum patients
- Working in a Level 2 nursery as needed
- Monitoring fetal health using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques
- Performing emergency response and patient stabilization as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
- Acute care facility experience – Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – Required
- Experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Required
Additional Information
Scrubs will be provided if needed. If not, eggplant colored scrubs should be worn as part of the uniform.
