Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
This role involves travel as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in a dynamic environment. As part of the nursing team, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, treatment planning, and execution of care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual patient needs.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and preventive care.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting, preferably in IMCU or a related area.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient interaction.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
