Travel Med-Surg Float Pool RN – Columbia, MO
Location: Columbia, Missouri (65201)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 48 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join its Float Pool. This position requires flexibility to float across multiple medical-surgical specialties while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients
- Float to various Med-Surg specialty units as needed
- Monitor patients on remote telemetry
- Administer medications and treatments
- Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Required Skills
- IV insertion
- PICC/Central line management
- Vascular access and device care
- Remote telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Traction
- CPM machines
- Epidural/PCA pumps
- Feeding tubes

Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification
- Recent Med-Surg acute care experience
