Nurse Manager – Emergency & Trauma
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Emergency & Trauma to oversee patient care, nursing staff, and daily Emergency Department operations.
In this leadership role, you will partner with the Director of Patient Care Services to ensure efficient departmental operations, high-quality patient care, and effective team management.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, Emergency Department experience, and the ability to provide bedside nursing support when needed.
Responsibilities:
Supervise patient care delivery and Emergency Department operations.
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff.
Partner with the Director of Patient Care Services on daily operational oversight.
Promote quality patient care and departmental efficiency.
Provide bedside nursing coverage as needed.
Support staff development and maintain a positive team environment.
Education:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience
Leadership experience within the last 2 years.
Previous Emergency Department experience.
Training and experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Strong people-management and clinical leadership skills.
Ability to work bedside nursing shifts when required.
Licensure & Certifications:
Active Colorado RN License or Compact State RN License.
