Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with Long Term Care (LTC) experience for an exciting opportunity. The position requires a valid Alaska nursing license in hand and previous travel experience.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 4x12 Variable (Days or Nights)
- Duration: 26 or 13 weeks (Traveler's Choice)
- Patient Ratios: 1:20
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in LTC
- Certifications Required: BLS, Alaska Food Worker Certification (obtained on-site during orientation)
- Must be willing to float within scope: Yes
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1 shift during this period)
- RTO Restrictions: Limited to 2 weeks for a 26-week contract; availability during major winter holidays is preferred

Transportation
The facility will arrange shuttle transportation to and from Anchorage at the beginning and end of the traveler's contract, as well as local shuttle services in Seward for additional transportation needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold an active Alaska nursing license prior to starting
- Prior Long Term Care experience is essential
- Willingness to comply with facility needs and adapt to shift schedules as required
- Candidates currently residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
