Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Kalispell, Montana.

Shift: Nights: 1900-0730 (arrive for report by 1855)

Unit Information:
Beds: 5 labor rooms, 8 postpartum rooms, 1 OB OR, 1 triage room
Census/Average patients/day: 2-3 deliveries/day, roughly 70-80 deliveries/mo
Minimum Years of Experience required: 2. 

Must have LDRP experience
No first time travelers
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Normal term deliveries, high risk OBs that deliver preterm as young as 23-weeks, Hypertension, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, diabetes, substance use/abuse, shoulder dystocia, multiples, antepartum for continued monitoring or additional testing, women s surgeries, placental issues (abruptio, accreta, etc.) Will practice the rooming in model/couplet care as there is no well-baby nursery here
Patient Ratios:
Active Labor: 1:1
Nonactive Labor: 1:1-2, depending on clinical scenario
Couplets: 1:3
Antepartum: 1:2
Staff per AWHONN guidelines
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, 

Certs Preferred: STABLE and EFM
