Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join our busy obstetrics department, providing high-quality care for women and their newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Responsibilities:
- Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- Perform triage and NSTs
- Serve as 2nd nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent, patient-centered care
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery
- Occasionally will need to float to Med/surg, CCU or ER to assist
- EPIC EMR

- Fast-paced environment caring for women and newborn infants after childbirth
- Critical role in guiding patients through the childbirth and postpartum journey

- Critical Access Hospital
Requirements:
- Must be labor-trained
- Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
- Willing to be placed on-call by OB manager up to 3 times per 13 week contract if needed.
