RN Assignment | Mayo Clinic
Assignment & Schedule
- Length: 13 weeks.
- Hours: 36 hours/week; 48-hour contracts considered.
- Shift: Rotating days/nights; straight nights available.
- Weekends: Every third weekend.
- Block scheduling offered.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Coordinate direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
- Assess needs and plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate individualized nursing care.
- Delegate based on staff competency, patient acuity, and available resources.
- Support precepting, mentoring, and quality improvement.
- Practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
