Job Summary: RN Emergency Room - IL
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with urgent and emergent needs
- Triage patients to prioritize care based on severity of condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare team members
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe environment and adhere to hospital policies and protocols
- Participate in emergency response and resuscitation efforts
- Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (specific to Illinois)
- Provide compassionate and efficient care in a fast-paced setting
Med Ninjas Job ID #6339. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
