Job Summary: RN ER – Illinois
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and presenting symptoms.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and vital signs to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and other critical incidents.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
- May supervise and mentor nursing students, new hires, or support staff as needed.
Med Ninjas Job ID #6393. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
