# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Alabama
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Alabama
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 shifts based on your preference with block scheduling; orientation of 28 hours; weekend coverage required

- Medical-Surgical unit serving adults through geriatric patient population with a daily census of approximately 35 patients
- Nurse-to-patient ratios up to 1:6-7
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
- Must be proficient in cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
- 13-week travel assignment in Alabama
Requirements:
- Active Alabama RN license or valid Compact license in hand at time of application
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical RN experience
- Proficiency in managing cardiac drips (cardizem, tridil, amiodarone)
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and IV port access/management preferred
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility location
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Pre-start modules required prior to assignment start
- Cannot have been permanent staff at this facility within the past 10 years
