# Job Opportunity – Pediatric Nurse – Western North Carolina**Start Date:** September 24, 2026 **Location:** Asheville, North Carolina **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 48 hours guaranteed per week, overtime after 48 hours; 6 weekend shifts per 13-week assignment, 2 of which must be Saturdays**Highlights:** - 19-bed combined Pediatrics and Oncology unit with dedicated oncology nursing coverage- Patient ratios of 1:3, 1:4, or 1:5 depending on acuity- Cerner EMR system with Alaris pumps- Comprehensive orientation including 4-hour hospital orientation and 8-hour unit shift- May float to PICU or NICU based on facility needs- Standard 13-week contract**Requirements:** - Active RN license in North Carolina- Hospital-based Pediatric nursing experience required- Pediatric Oncology experience strongly preferred- Current PALS and BLS certifications required- Detail-oriented and organized approach to patient care**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care to pediatric and oncology patients in a supportive team environment.
