ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This position offers both 36 and 48-hour shift options, making it suitable for various work-life balance preferences.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, responding promptly to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health care plans and interventions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting preferred.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Valid nursing license and current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Patient Ratios
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, ensuring adequate attention to each patient's needs.

Shift Information
This position involves nighttime shifts, specifically working 4x12-hour schedules from 19:00 to 07:00.
