Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
Highlights:
- Busy Emergency Department with approximately 250 visits per day and 59 beds
- Level 3 trauma center (in process), Primary Stroke Center, and accredited Chest Pain, STEMI, and CHF Center
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy
- All age groups treated: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- First-time travelers welcomed with minimum 2 years of experience
- Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract (must be finalized at time of submission)
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC, ENPC, and CPI preferred
- Skills required: care of ventilated patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage experience; continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring preferred
- Telemetry competency exam required
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
