Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN – South Dakota
Start Date: November 8, 2026
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with varying start times (0530-1600, 0630-1700, and 0730-1800). Call requirement includes 1-2 call shifts per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks with 30-minute response time.
Highlights:
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center acute care setting averaging 30 patients per day
- 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 2 procedural rooms
- Diverse case mix including left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs, cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms
- Comprehensive 4-6 shift orientation tailored to experience level, focusing on charting and physician equipment preferences
- Epic charting system with advanced equipment including Pyxis, Philips monitoring systems, Xcelera, Angiojets, EKOS machines, and Acist contrast injection systems
- Scrubs provided (Ceil Blue)
Requirements:
- Active RN license in South Dakota or Compact state
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience required
- Graduation from an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation and circulate in a sterile environment
