Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse contributes clinical expertise and professionalism in delivering and orchestrating care for patients in a progressive care unit.
Shift Requirements
- Start time: 1900 hours
- Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend commitment: Every other weekend and holiday
- Floating required to all inpatient and emergency department areas
Unit Details
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 (may increase to 1:5)
- Types of patients and conditions flown: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Ablation, Angiogram, TCAR, EVAR, Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Stroke, Pacemaker placements, Sepsis
Certification Requirements
- Active BLS certification
- Active ACLS certification
- Active NIHSS certification
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting
- Willingness to float to the emergency department and all inpatient areas
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
