Join a leading acute-care hospital as an IMC Registered Nurse in Edmond, OK. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing critical care. We are looking for dedicated RNs with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).
Requirements:
- Current and valid Driver's License or State-issued ID required.
- Utility bill in the Traveler's name with matching address within the last three months.
- Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility.
- Minimum of 2 years of current Critical Care and Telemetry experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- First-timers accepted.
- Floating to sister facilities may be required if needed.
- No block scheduling accommodations available.
- Locals are not accepted; local radius rule is 75 miles.
- Pending State License is not accepted.
- RTO restrictions: 5 days or less.
