Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Issaquah, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong focus on teamwork and camaraderie.
As an L&D RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients experiencing labor and preterm labor. The facility features 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms, and you will be involved in various aspects of patient care, including circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, and scrub roles.
We welcome both seasoned travelers and first-time travelers to apply. The unit requires travelers to work only 1 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year's Eve), and you can request up to 2 major holidays off. Enjoy a beautiful campus, often referred to as "Issa-spa," and participate in staff book clubs and group dinners.
Requirements:
- 2 Years of Experience Required
- Epic Experience Required
- Certifications Required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
- ACLS Certification (preferred)
Patient Diagnoses: Labor/Preterm labor
Special Procedures: Blood/Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket, Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, Syringe Pumps, Wound Vac, Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.
Special Equipment: Attends All Deliveries, Attends High-Risk Deliveries, GYN Surgeries, Couplet Care, Low Risk Antepartum, Transition Nursery.
Staffing Ratio: 1:1-3
Float: Yes, to Post-Partum and possibly L&D at Swedish First Hill.
