Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical process
- Participate in on-call coverage, including a minimum of one overnight call shift per week and additional on-call as needed per department
- Rotate into the weekend on-call schedule approximately every 6th weekend
- Participate in the holiday call rotation as required by the department
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Operating Room clinical experience
- Ability to fulfill on-call requirements, including overnight and weekend call shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior scrub or circulating experience in a surgical setting
- Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties
