Contract | Days | 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts; 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts may be a possibility | On-call required (variable call on weekends and nights, approximately 8 shifts/month) | Every 3rd or 4th weekend required depending on rotation and time-off requests

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across all areas of the surgery department, including Pre/Post-Op, Circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy
• Support a 2-room OR serving specialties including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, GI/General Surgery, ENT, Pain Management, and Dental
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:4 depending on care area and patient acuity
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float between units within the surgery department as needed
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at a different rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in multiple perioperative settings including PACU, Endoscopy, and Circulating roles
• Familiarity with OB/GYN, Orthopedic, or ENT surgical specialties
• Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative environment
