Contract | 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday | No weekends, no call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery care for interventional radiology patients across the lifespan, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Monitor and care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure in a 23-hour observation setting
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-energy diagnostic imaging environment
• Support patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds
• Apply critical thinking and strong communication skills to assess and respond to patient needs throughout the care continuum
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association)

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• No prior Interventional Radiology experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GI post-procedural care
• Background in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity environment
• Team-oriented, flexible, and organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
