Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM. No second shift relief. Call required approximately 4 times per month, Monday through Friday only (no weekend call). Huddles Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Highlights:
- 17 operating room facility specializing in orthopedic procedures including large joint replacements, spine surgery, hand, foot, and arthroscopic procedures
- 1:1 staffing ratio with one scrub and one circulator per room, supported by dedicated positioning and support technicians
- Most surgeons work with a PA, CST, or NP to assist during procedures, enhancing team collaboration
- Meditech EMR system in use across the facility
- Non-trauma designated facility focused on orthopedic excellence
- Facility recognized for top employee and physician engagement with consistently greater than 90% patient satisfaction scores
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or compact state license with ability to practice in Texas
- Large joint and spine orthopedic OR experience required
- BLS certification required
- Strong preference for candidates well-versed in total joint replacements and spine procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative surgical team
