- Required Experience & Skills:
- Large Joint Orthopedic experience.
- Spine Orthopedic experience.
- Strong experience with total joint and spine procedures preferred.
- Must have experience circulating and/or scrubbing in orthopedic surgical cases as applicable to the role.
- Familiarity with orthopedic surgical equipment and procedures.
- Common Procedures:
- Large joint surgeries.
- Total joint replacements.
- Spine procedures (no neurosurgery).
- Hand surgeries.
- Foot surgeries.
- Orthopedic scopes.
- Charting System: Meditech
- Additional Requirements:
- Must be available for weekday call.
- Approximately 4 call shifts per month (Monday–Friday only).
- Must be able to stay over to finish surgical cases when needed.
- No weekend call.
Position: OR RN – Orthopedics Facility: Texas Orthopedic Location: 7401 S Main St, 2nd Floor OR Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week Openings: 1 Operating Rooms: 17 Call: 4 times/month (Monday–Friday only) Report Time: 06:45 AM Shift End: 05:15 PM Scrubs: Ciel Blue (Hospital Does Not Provide) Parking: Free EMR: Meditech
