Job Opportunity – Operating Room Circulator Nurse – Sitka, AK 99835
Start Date: December 28, 2026
Location: Sitka, Alaska
Schedule: Full-time, 4 ten-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday. On-call required for nights, holidays, and weekends at $4 per hour pager rate. 40 guaranteed hours per week.
Highlights:
- Work in a dynamic Operating Room handling diverse surgical cases including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic surgery, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
- Circulator position in a critical access facility serving the Southeast Alaska region
- Competitive compensation with overtime, callback, and holiday differential rates available
- 91-day assignment through March 29, 2027
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment ensuring surgical cases proceed efficiently throughout the day
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ADN)
- Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska (required at time of submission)
- Minimum 3 years of OR circulator experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Flu vaccine required
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred
- Fingerprint processing required; allow minimum 6 weeks from fingerprint submission to start date
