Registered Nurse (RN)
Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in a state-of-the-art pediatric unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive care for patients facing a variety of medical and surgical issues, including acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO.
Shift
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Some holidays required
Minimum Requirements
- Experience:
- Pediatric ICU experience is required.
- Solid background in PICU, with additional experience in CV ICU or cardiac step-down units preferred.
- Completion of two years of acute care experience within the last three years is required.
- Licensure and Certification:
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact license from the permanent address state.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Education: Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
- Telemetry: Basic Arrhythmia experience is required. Candidate must pass a telemetry test before starting (not applicable for clinic positions).
