Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team providing family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in a specialized pediatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO.
• Work collaboratively with a highly skilled team to ensure the highest quality of care for pediatric patients.

Shift Details:

This position requires 36 hours of work per week on a night shift schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Travelers must maintain a permanent address 50 miles away from the designated work location.
• Pediatric ICU experience is required, with solid background in PICU and additional experience in CV ICU or general cardiac care preferred.
• Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years.

Licensure and Certification:

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license from Wisconsin or a compact license from your primary residence state.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association is also required.

Education:

• A Baccalaureate degree in nursing is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Basic Arrhythmia experience is essential. The traveler will need to successfully pass a Telemetry test prior to starting the assignment (not applicable for clinic positions).

A permit is required for onsite parking. Additional transportation options like bus services, park-and-ride, and private parking are available.
