🏥 Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Circulator
📍 Location: Hermiston, Oregon
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Schedule: 5 × 8-Hour Day Shifts
⏱️ Hours: 40 Hours/Week
💻 EMR: EPIC
We’re seeking an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator to provide safe, effective, patient-centered perioperative care across surgical services. The RN will serve as a patient advocate while coordinating care throughout the intraoperative experience.
✅ Requirements
Active Oregon RN License
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room / Circulator nursing experience
Associate Degree in Nursing required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
TNCC certification
CNOR preferred
Peri-op 101 and scrub experience preferred
Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
🩺 Perioperative Clinical Experience
Intraoperative circulating responsibilities
Patient safety and advocacy
Surgical counts and prevention of retained surgical items
Correct-site, side, and level verification
Specimen management
Safe medication administration
Infection prevention and surgical-site safety
Patient positioning and protection from surgical hazards
Accurate perioperative documentation
Collaboration with surgical and interdisciplinary teams
📌 Assignment Highlights
40 hours per week
5 × 8-hour day shifts
Regular Surgery Unit call rotation
Holiday coverage required
