We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry for a 10-week contract in New Haven, CT. This position is specifically for winter coverage, with local radius restrictions waived for this assignment. The ideal candidate will be available to start by December 4, 2026, and will work a Day 4x12-Hour shift from 07:00 to 19:00.
Key responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care in a Short Term Acute Care Level I Trauma Center with an average nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 during the day, 1:6 at night, and 1:5 on weekends. We welcome first-time travelers and require a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
Required certifications include BLS, and while an active license is preferred, pending licenses will be accepted as long as they are active prior to the start date. The position guarantees hours and will involve floating within the scope to meet facility needs.
