Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg, Telemetry Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for RNs with experience in neuro telemetry. You will be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the neuro telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg and telemetry nursing.
- Active RN license required before the start date.
- BCLS certification is mandatory.
- Neuro telemetry experience is preferred.
- Ability to float as needed.
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.
This position guarantees hours and is ideal for RNs looking to enhance their skills in a Level I trauma center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The facility offers a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth.
