Join a leading acute-care hospital in New Haven, CT, as an MS/Tele Registered Nurse. This position is specifically for winter coverage for a 10-week contract, with local radius restrictions waived for this assignment. The start date is set for 11/20/2026, and no holiday requests for time off (RTO) are allowed. You will be required to work every other weekend and float between sister units, including Observation.
As a Registered Nurse in Telemetry, you can expect an average patient ratio of 1:5-6 during days, nights, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, and first-timers are welcome to apply. A current BLS certification is required, and while on-call is not required, clinicians will need to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Other important details include:
- Pending licenses are accepted, but they must be active prior to the start date.
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.
This facility is a Short Term Acute Care Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The charting system used is Epic, and parking is available at a cost of $125/month.
