Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg, Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in New Haven, CT. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds, providing a comprehensive range of services to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions in the telemetry unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record (Epic).
Requirements:
- 2 years of RN experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- Weekend shifts required: every other weekend.
- Pending license accepted; must be active prior to start date.
- Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.
