Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a geriatric long-term care environment. This position offers the opportunity to provide quality care to older adults, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents.
- Conduct assessments and document patient conditions.
- Implement nursing care plans tailored to resident needs.
- Oversee and collaborate with LPN and CNA colleagues.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all healthcare team members.
- Demonstrate flexibility and strong delegation skills in various situations.
Requirements
- New York State Registered Nurse License (NYS RN License required).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Telemetry experience is preferred.
