Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients in the Labor and Delivery specialty.
Work Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every third weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess high-risk pregnancies and provide high acuity care.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment as needed in patient care.
- Keep accurate patient records and documentation using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics and circulating in operating room settings.
- Recent experience in larger, high-volume delivery centers with approximately 200-300 deliveries per month.
- Multiple completed travel contracts preferred.
- Preferred experience with EPIC STORK.
Certifications Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA or ARC Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- AWHONN Certification for Fetal Monitoring
- Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Orientation Schedule
- Orientation available on October 26 and November 9.
Holiday Requirements
- Must be available to work on 2 of the following 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
- Only one day off request permitted between November 25-29 and December 23-27.
All candidates must be located at least 50 miles away from the facility based on their driver's license. A valid Iowa nursing license is required at the time of submission.
