### Exciting Opportunity for Acute Travel RN: ICU **Job Description:** - Shift: 7A-7P - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 - Location: Ottumwa, IA **Position Highlights:** - Join a supportive and dynamic team in our ICU department. - Work in a Lower ICU volume setting, allowing for personalized patient care. - Patient Ratios: 1:3 (ICU) - Engage with a diverse patient population, primarily adults dealing with conditions such as DKA, ARF, CHF, CAD. - Float requirements include stepdown (intermediate), telemetry, and MedSurg patients when ICU beds are not occupied. **Onboarding Requirements:** - Mandatory State of Iowa Background Check: Criminal and Child Abuse (No exceptions) - All Background checks (counties and states) must be fully cleared prior to start; no instant or statewide searches accepted - Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult) - 10 Panel Drug Test (including opiates) - Titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB within the last 12 months **Unit Information:** - Total ICU Beds: 10 - Equipment: Mindray, Omnicell - EHR System: Meditech - Supervision by: Carol Storto, RN, BSN **What We're Looking For:** - Must Have Skills: - ACLS - 1 year of experience in ICU setting - Preferred Skills: - Experience with cardiac drips - Adaptability and willingness to help fellow team members **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Any - Unacceptable Attire: Sweatshirts, sweatpants, or clothing with offensive pictures/wording **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
