ICU RN – Ottumwa, IA
Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night-shift travel assignment. This is a lower-volume ICU combined with the medical unit, so candidates must be comfortable floating and caring for Stepdown, Telemetry, and Med-Surg patients when ICU census is low.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- RTO: Maximum 5 days
- Openings: 1

Unit Details
- 10 ICU beds
- ICU ratio: 1:3
- Patient population: Adults
- Trauma level: IV
- EMR: Meditech
- Equipment: Mindray and Omnicell
- Common diagnoses: DKA, acute renal failure, CHF, and CAD
- Scrubs: Any color
Requirements
- Active Iowa or compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- BLS and ACLS required
- General ICU and cardiac drip experience preferred
- One year may be considered with prior travel experience
- Must float to Stepdown, Telemetry, and Med-Surg
- Flexible, team-oriented candidates strongly preferred
