Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU department. This contract position offers a 48-hour work week with guaranteed hours, providing an excellent opportunity for dedicated nursing professionals. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring high-quality patient care while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Participate in patient and family education.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Alabama.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Preferred: Cerner experience.
- Must have a permanent address 50+ miles from the facility.
This position is an auto-offer contingent upon the start date and scheduling requests. The facility has approved the use of a truncated requirement checklist to facilitate the soonest possible start date. Nurses are expected to work day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with every other weekend scheduled. Overtime is available after 48 hours worked per week.
