ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring and assessment skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients in a mixed ICU setting.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and perform assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize EMR systems (EPIC) for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Maintain and operate medical equipment, including IV pumps, bedside monitors, and CRRT systems.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care processes.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certification in CPI, BLS, and ACLS.
- Completion of 8 hours of Stroke Training.
- Experience in an ICU setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Work Environment
This position is located within a twenty-bed mixed ICU, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive healthcare team. The successful candidate will work night shifts, providing vital care to patients during critical hours.
