Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and triage patients quickly and efficiently.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care instructions.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
- Valid and current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in reading telemetry and managing dysrhythmias.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
