Job description
GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Shift: Night 4x12s or 3x12s (19:00 – 07:00, flex +/- 4 hrs only in rare emergencies) | Every Other Weekend
Contract Length: 13 to 26 Weeks (36 or 48 Hours/week) |
Key Requirements:
- License & Certs: Permanent MA RN License in hand required | BLS, ACLS, & PALS required (TNCC & NIHSS preferred).
- Experience: 1.5+ years of ED experience (2+ years preferred). Level 1 Trauma experience strongly preferred.
- Pass/Fail Exams: Must pass 2 exams at orientation on 1st attempt (Medication & Telemetry competency).
- EMR: Epic experience preferred.
Unit Details & Expectations:
- Unit Setting: High-acuity Level I Trauma Center serving all age groups (Pediatrics experience & Psych/Behavioral Health ED background preferred).
- Patient Ratio: 1:3 – 1:6.
- Scheduling Rules: No block schedules. Max 2 time-off requests (no more than 2 weeks off total). Must work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's).
- Submission Priority: Priority given to 26-week contracts and minimal RTO requests.
