Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the medical team.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in emergency nursing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
- Experience with pediatric patients is essential.
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse 6 is preferred.
- Permanent MA nursing license required.
