Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Lynchburg, VA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Work night shifts, 4x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15), with every other weekend required.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
- Float as needed, but typically remain in the assigned unit.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply!
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Licensure: Candidates with pending certifications will be considered.
Additional Information:
- Scrubs are not provided.
- Must be nicotine-free; campus is a nicotine-free environment.
- All scheduling requests must be communicated before accepting the assignment; block scheduling and specific days off are not guaranteed.
