Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse, Emergency Room. This role provides clinical care in a high-acuity emergency department setting and requires experience in a similar-size department with Level I or Level II trauma experience. The position requires travel nursing experience, current licensure, and multiple emergency and trauma-related certifications.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evening shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Three years of emergency department experience in a similar-size emergency department.
- Level I or Level II trauma experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Active Virginia or compact nursing license at the time of submission.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or another approved trauma certification.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required before the assignment begins.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Cerner experience.
- Additional Information:
- Assignment dates are 12/13/2026 through 03/13/2027.
- Orientation is scheduled for 11/30 and 12/14, with orientation occurring every other Monday.
- Every other weekend is required.
- Assignments conclude on Saturday.
