Emergency Room Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Emergency Room Nurses to join our team. This position offers both 36 or 48-hour shifts, providing a flexible option for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
- Monitor and assess patient condition, intervening as necessary to stabilize patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform charting duties using Epic software.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Current certifications required at the time of submission:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Experience with Epic charting is mandatory.
- Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius.
Schedule
- Two weekend shifts per contract are required.
