Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Nurse – St Johnsbury, VT 05819
Start Date: November 18, 2026
Location: Vermont's Northeast Kingdom
Schedule: Flex shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours. This is a 24/7 Emergency Department with over 15,000 patient visits annually. Travelers will start on Wednesdays; during orientation week, 48-hour contract staff will be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.

Requirements:
- Current Vermont RN License or Compact Multi-State RN License required
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum three years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- TNCC preferred
- Experience with Meditech strongly preferred; must demonstrate ability to learn system quickly
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers with no exceptions
- Reliable personal transportation required (rural location with no public transit or rideshare services)
- All credentialing documentation must be submitted no later than five business days before start date
