• Scheduling: No block scheduling
• Local candidates: Accepted with a local rate differential

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and discharge planning for adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform utilization review (UR), admission criteria reviews, and medical necessity assessments.
• Conduct concurrent, continued-stay, and retrospective reviews.
• Manage appeals and denials.
• Apply InterQual criteria and Milliman Guidelines.
• Support hospital case management operations and departmental administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate care and resource utilization.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Case Management experience.
• Acute hospital experience.
• Experience in LTAC, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings.
• Med-Surg and SDU/PCU/IMC/Observation experience.
• Care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization review experience.
• Appeals and denials experience.
• InterQual and Milliman Guidelines experience.
• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at submission.
• BLS certification and BSN required.
• EPIC experience.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions accepted. COVID vaccination not required.
