Job Description – RN | Labor & Delivery / LDRP Float
Department: LDRP RN – Float
Care Setting: Acute Care
Trauma Level: CAH
Contract Duration: 126 weeks listed — confirm actual assignment length
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift: 12-hour rotating days/nights
- Day: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Night: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Scheduling: Block scheduling allowed; self-scheduling not permitted
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
Call: May be required depending on staffing
Floating: Required to Med-Surg, ER, and other hospital departments as needed
Requirements
- Previous travel experience required
- Ability to independently read and interpret fetal strips
- BLS required
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required
- ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
- BSN not required
- License required at submission
